Pearl
Based on a poem of the same title by an unknown Medieval Poet (otherwise refered to as The Pearl Poet). The poem speaks of the death of the Poets infant daughter, who is buried in the garden with descriptions of the flowers now growing on her grave.

Holy Bacteria
This diptych is based on the theory that bacteria is immortal due to the way in which it reproduces, and that sexual reproduction only leads to death.
